The gastroenterology, hepatology and rheumatology ward (D and E) comprises 58 beds in rooms with between one and three beds. It is located in the new building of Internal Departments (built in 2004). All rooms have above-standard equipment (bath, toilets, TV). The gastroenterology, hepatology and rheumatology in-patient clinic uses beds in the wards of the Second Department of Internal Medicine and intensive care unit of the Third Department of Internal Medicine too. The Intensive Care Unit is in the same building, just beside the endoscopy department.
